Why Air Combat Arena
A complete foundation. Two things only the Arena does.
Networked Training Foundation
Plan, brief, execute, and debrief one mission — constructive forces, weapons, datalink, comms, and evidence-based review.
The White Cell
A coordinated controller team — Air Boss, RTO, GCI/C2, Red Air — each at its own station over one shared picture.
Live aircraft, physical emitters, and range assets in the same exercise as the synthetic ones.
On a spine of Built-in Assurance — accredited cross-domain security, role-based authority, monitoring, and time integrity. It all builds to one outcome: Readiness, Cost of Training, and Proof — mission-ready air forces.
Mission Control
Real-time scenario management and entity control
Night Operations
High-fidelity simulation for all conditions
Multi-Site LVC
Connecting live aircraft with simulators across locations
Operational Readiness
Operationally proven training trusted by allied air forces
Mission Control Interface
Real-time scenario management, entity control, and training orchestration.

ArenaLogic: live, virtual and constructive fighter training
How ArenaLogic connects live aircraft, simulators and constructive forces into one tactical training mission, from F-16 emergency procedure training to Air Combat Arena LVC exercises and shared debrief.
Film transcript
The training challenge
Air forces already have aircraft, ranges, equipment, and experienced people. But a demanding training mission needs more than individual assets. It needs a shared picture, responsive opposition, and a way to learn from every decision.
Proven tactical training
For years, ArenaLogic has brought live aircraft, GCI controllers, simulator crews, and constructive computer-generated forces together in one tactical battle. In our F16 tactical training centres, pilots and controllers work from the same evolving scenario.
Emergency and procedure training
Our F16 emergency and procedure simulators let crews rehearse routine operations and critical failures in a controlled environment. Instructors introduce situations that pilots must recognise and manage before they face them in flight.
Air Combat Arena
Our technology is already in operational use for F35 and F16 training. Air Combat Arena builds on that experience and can support Eurofighter and other fleets.
Connect existing assets
Consider a live training mission. Aircraft are flying. The range has its own emitters, radios, and command-and-control systems. Air Combat Arena connects these elements into a coordinated mission, with integrations configured for that environment.
A richer tactical battle
From the White Cell, operators plan and control the exercise using a shared picture. They add virtual crews and constructive forces to create a richer tactical challenge than the live assets alone could provide that day. Live and simulated participants become part of the same battle, and the exercise responds as the mission develops.
Learn from every mission
Afterwards, the team reviews tracks, calls, and decisions together. Planning, execution, and debrief form one connected training cycle, so the next mission builds on what the previous one revealed.
Available and proven
Air Combat Arena is available today, built on operational LVC technology. An air force can start with a proven platform and connect it to its own range, rather than begin a lengthy programme to develop a solution from scratch. Today, 27 ArenaLogic simulators operate at eight simulation centres across six nations.
A stronger way to prepare
ArenaLogic develops its core technology in Denmark and owns the intellectual property behind it. The result is more training value from the assets an air force already has, and stronger preparation for missions that are difficult to recreate with live forces alone.
